March Mission Spotlight – Home of Grace

MISSION:  Home of Grace
FPCOS KEY CONTACTS:  Matt Lott (Men’s Campus) and Mike and Marcia West (Women’s Campus)

The Home of Grace, a nationally known addiction recovery program, has helped tens of thousands of individuals battle addiction.  In operation since 1965, their mission is to offer freedom from addiction through Christ-centered recovery.  The Home of Grace addiction recovery program is built on the foundation of Christian principles.  Their program is rooted in the Biblical virtues of truth, honor, integrity, respect, faith and disciplined living.

Some of their current needs at the moment include a video surveillance system for both campuses to help monitor and protect their residents, a 15-passenger van for the men’s campus to replace an older, less reliable van, and technology upgrades to allow for better communication between both campuses and to replace slower, inefficient equipment.

We ask that you lift up Home of Grace in your prayers throughout the month.  Pray for their residents – between 10-15 men and women enter the Home of Grace every week, each one dealing with the struggle of addiction (you may e-mail Clay Barton if you are interested in praying for a resident by name each week). Please pray for guidance and wisdom for their staff of nearly 50 members, who play a vital role in providing these residents with the tools they need for a life of recovery.  Additionally, their women’s campus is in need of relocating to a safer, updated facility.  They are in the beginning stages of prospecting available land.  Please pray that resources become available to secure the property and build a new facility for their women.

Is God calling you to come alongside the Home of Grace?  If so, please reach out to one of the FPCOS Key Contacts for Home of Grace for more information.
