Sunday Morning Schedule

8:45 AM – Worship in the Sanctuary (praise band)
10:00 AM – Sunday School for all ages
11:00 AM– Worship in the Sanctuary (organ and choir)

Arriving at FPCOS:

Our campus is made up of six distinct buildings.  Most of our activity on Sunday morning happens in our two main buildings – the sanctuary and the education building.  The education building is the three-story structure in the center of our campus.  Our nursery and younger children’s Sunday School classes are located on the first floor of that building.  Our Sanctuary is the large building with the tall spire.  The chapel is just west of the sanctuary with the smaller spire.  The church office is on the corner of Washington and Ocean Avenues at the east end of campus.  The Harbor House (youth) is on the far west end of the campus.

Parking at FPCOS:

Our main parking lot is the north parking lot off of Washington Avenue marked by the FPCOS sign.  It circles all the way around our campus and provides more parking in the non-paved lot on the west end of the campus.  The south lot is the second entrance off of Washington Avenue and reserved for Handicap and Seniors on Sunday mornings.  There are also numerous places to park on Washington Avenue south of the church, as well as on Ocean Avenue.

What should I wear?

There’s no dress code at FPCOS; come wearing what you’re comfortable in. You’ll find some folks who dress up and others who dress down.  No matter what you wear, you shouldn’t feel out of place.

Where will my kids go?

Children 3 and under are welcome to stay in our nursery, which has a secure sign-in.  The nursery is on the bottom floor of our education building.  Parents are given a pager in case you need to be reached while on campus.  Children 4 years and older are encouraged to sit with their parents in worship at 8:45 AM and 11:00 AM.  If interested in Sunday School (10:00 AM), children’s classes are in the education building.  Younger elementary aged children are on the bottom floor.  Older elementary aged children are on the top floor.  Youth (6th-12th grade) meet for Sunday School in the Harbor House.

Should I bring anything?

No need to bring anything.  If you like to bring your Bible, you are certainly welcome.  But each of our classrooms has Bibles and there are Bibles in the sanctuary as well.  At FPCOS, we generally use the English Standard Version (ESV) of the scriptures.  Other than that, bring the high expectation that God has something planned for you in your time with us.
