Every Sunday through the end of June, we will be hosting Summer Sunday Brunch in the Fellowship Hall during the Faith Foundations hour. There will be no children or youth classes, and we will have a shortened version of Pastor Kory’s Genesis class offered for adults in the library. Come join us for this special time of food and fellowship as we kick off the summer!
Do you have the gift of hospitality? We are looking for GREETERS on Sunday mornings at FPCOS! You will be greeting people as they arrive for worship, passing out bulletins and collecting the offering. You will need to arrive 30 minutes before the service you sign up for. This is a wonderful opportunity for families to serve together, but also a great way for singles and couples to plug in and serve as well! Pick a date and service time and sign up below! In the comments, please indicate how many will be greeting (please include yourself).

Many people ask: How do I get to know Christ? How do I get to know the will of God? The answer: read the Word! God’s Word is a treasure book for all people. John Piper states, “From Genesis to Revelation, God’s words and God’s deeds reveal God himself for our knowledge and our enjoyment.”
During June, we will be walking through the book of Proverbs. This one-month, self-study will guide us as we read and meditate on God’s Word. The Proverbs are a collection of wise sayings that, although they were written in ancient times, their principles are for all men in every age and every walk of life. The ultimate message in the book of Proverbs is that fearing the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. There is no greater principle that was taught by both David and Solomon than acknowledging God’s presence in everything in life.
