Helping Hands is a ministry designed to assist those in or around our community who need help in a time of difficulty. This ministry offers financial assistance to those in need but also addresses the spiritual, emotional, and relational needs of applicants.
Helping Hands is designed to meet the needs of both church members and those within a 10-mile radius of the church that do not have a church home. Each applicant will complete a form that will help us assess how we can best assist. This form will include pertinent financial information such as income, debt, and expenses. As a part of the Helping Hands process, one of our ministry team members will host each applicant (and their family) at worship and Faith Foundations. We do encourage the whole family to be a part of that Sunday morning visit, if at all possible. After the applicant has worshipped with us, they will meet with one of the pastors and the ministry team the following week as we discern how best to help.
If you or someone you know is in need of help, don’t hesitate to set up an appointment with the Helping Hands Ministry Team by calling the church office. Our office staff can answer any questions you may have about this ministry.
If any church member would like to participate in any way with Helping Hands either through a designated gift or volunteering with the ministry team, contact the church office to learn more about how you can help!
